Save9 places importance on the value of your information - to save time and inconvenience we offer you a safe, totally secure, fully encrypted, 365 days per year Online Backup Service. Back up any amount of data from any desktop PC, laptop or server - all you need is an Internet connection and our EMC Dantz Retrospect backup software.
Online Backup is provided by Save9 as a one-way encrypted data back-up service to help reduce your information security costs and to provide your organisation with a rapid disaster recovery service. Only authorised personnel at your company have the ability to restore or view your backed-up data held off-site at Save9's secure data centre.
How secure is our Online Backup service?
For maximum security a VPN tunnel is established between your site and the Save9 backup service. Save9 personnel never have access to your confidential company files, only your personal encryption key will unlock files that you wish to view or restore.
Save9 offers three off-site backup packages to suit different storage and bandwidth requirements. Increased data capacity & bandwidth services are available on request.

Save9 provides an initial on-site backup visit plus a fully licensed copy of Retrospect Server to prepare your first full and guaranteed backup. Subsequent backups are only for files that have changed or that are new. |
What legal, professional or quality guarantees do I have that my data is kept safe and secure at all times?
This guarantee is backed by a £1m professional indemnity insurance policy - a copy of which is available prior to any customer placing an order. A contractual obligation is also placed on Save9 Limited to ensure that your data remains encrypted at all times - this is backed by our SLA (Service Level Agreement). Save9 is also working towards formal accreditation from the British Standards Institute for ISO17799 compliance (Internationally recognised information security standard).

High-end Linux backup solution for multiple client operating systems
SEP sesam back up solutions are designed for client/server architectures from small data server environments to large heterogeneous, data processing centres with large databases and scalable Storage Area Networks (SANs). To meet the demands for high performance data security, SEP sesam utilises multiple, simultaneous back up streams to back up devices. This minimises the time required to perform scheduled and unscheduled system back ups. Low CPU utilisation and high transfer rates are assured through the use of SEP sesam's patented back up processing algorithms. Through the use of platform independent JAVA, a uniform user interface is assured on all servers and clients.
SEP sesam supports all standard back up devices, tape libraries and Virtual Tape Libraries. Virtual Tape Libraries emulate tape library functionality, including the autoloader, on hard drives.
